Designed specifically for centrifugal pumps where the product being sealed has poor lubricating properties.
Not recommended for chromium trioxide, nitric acid and sulfuric acid.
Composition
Braided from expanded graphite with carbon-reinforced corners for mechanical strength in rotating applications. Self-lubricating and resistant to most chemicals. This gasket has excellent thermal conductivity and stability.
Application area
Able to operate with caustic fluids, petroleum derivatives, condensed, boiler feed water, cooking liqueurs, filtered, stillage, wine, mixed broth among others. Ideal for use in pumps, reactors, mixers, agitators, “hidrapulper” scrubbers and process valves.
