From painter to leader: Laudemir's successful trajectory at KLINGER Brazil
Laudemir Meira Soares is born in Brumado, interior of Bahia. Lau, as it is known today in KLINGER Brazil, had contact with the company at a very young age, to the 19 years, while still living in his hometown. Era 1987, and the one who introduced her was her uncle, company employee at the time, who went to visit family on vacation. “I remember my uncle encouraging me to work at KLINGER. He already praised the opportunities that the company provided to its employees”, account.
Since your 16 years, Laudemir worked as a painter and bricklayer's assistant, and was excited about the possibility of working for the company. Like this, gave uncle a thumbs up, who recommended his nephew to the factory manager at the time. “At that time, CV culture did not yet exist. Then, a name and a recommendation was enough to get an interview”.
Not long after, still in 1987, the brumadense received the news that KLINGER Brazil was looking for a Mixer and he could be part of the selection process. Then, finished his studies in his hometown and, the following year, faced more than 1.500 kilometers to reach the company in Várzea Paulista.
In February of 1988, the young man was hired. Although, not to work at the Mixer, but rather as a general assistant in the shipping area.
Promising, Laudemir worked his way through the sealing division and, after approximately five years, was already the leader of the company's entire expedition.
Even with a rapid rise, Laudemir wanted more. His experience in the company and constant interest in learning made Laudemir in charge of the factory: “From that moment, I was not only responsible for shipping, but also for the entire production of sealing materials”.
Today – after 35 years of KLINGER Brazil – Laudemir is a logistics supervisor in the seal e, among the various responsibilities responsible for the production, Prohibited, output and consumption of raw materials.
To the 55 years, Laudemir does not spare his praise for the company that, for more than half of his life, considered it like home: “KLINGER is, since I joined, a family and welcoming company, giving opportunities to people in their first job”. And adds: “Conversations with leaders and managers have always been very easy! They are open to listening to our suggestions and encouraging discussions in order to arrive at a better scenario for the client”.
When remembering these 35 years with the company, shows hope for the future: “I went through some adverse periods while at KLINGER, with political and economic crises. I saw several businesses around me close, it was scary. The way KLINGER got through these difficult times reassures me for what lies ahead. We demonstrate that we are strong!”
